A valued customer recently asked us to become an event supporter for Maggie’s Spring Ball 2017 set to take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Saturday April 22nd 2017. We were very pleased to accept and soon started thinking about a unique prize we could offer on the night.

Fundraising for Maggie’s

For those who are not aware, Maggie’s, based at Gartnavel General Hospital, is a vital haven for people who have been affected by cancer. All the wonderful and empathetic staff make sure that the practical, social and emotional needs of those affected are well taken care of.

Maggie’s, shown above, relies on fundraising and assistance from organisations like the Big Lottery Fund to survive. This is why events like the upcoming ball are so important to the staff and the people that find support here.

What is really striking about the centre is how modern and different it is from the hospital. From top to toe careful thought has been poured into every aspect of Maggie’s to make sure it is run for the benefit of those who need it.

Win a bespoke diamond ring

We are offering one lucky winner this exquisite round brilliant cut 0.6ct diamond ring normally retailing at £3000.

On the evening of the ball, a limited number of envelopes will be on sale. When the time comes to announce the winner ten ring boxes will be laid out, but only one will contain the ring above. Yes, there will be some disappointed faces, but it’s all part of the fun for this great cause. We aim to raise £15,000 for the Maggie’s centre in Gartnavel General solely from this prize.

Following the ball, the winner will be welcomed into the Blair and Sheridan Diamond Design Workshop to alter or redesign the ring to meet their requirements. Remember, the stone and band is just a starting point – the winner will help us to craft a bespoke ring that is unique to them.
